DAMS:
Congratulations on securing a good ranks. What is the secret of your success in
this exam?
Dr. Diksha: Thank u, my
secret is that I followed the advise of Sumer sir which they gave me on dams
club ...that advise was very helpful ...because I was depressed after poor
results aipgme and dnb nov and I was willing to take any non clinical seat of
dnb when I asked sir on forum sir advised me to try again and not to take seat
it is just matter of time...and I did as sir said...again started study from
Feb end.
DAMS: How
did your parents, family and friends contribute to your success?
Dr. Diksha: My parents
sisters and brother helped me a lot and always kept my moral high through my
worst phase....its just because of them I achieved this.
DAMS: Who
influenced you to take up Medicine?
Dr. Diksha: I always wanted
to take medicine right from third year I want to be a cardiologist I want to
achieve that ....my father also always wanted that.
DAMS: We
appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be
really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to
succeed in it?
Dr. Diksha: Yes it is
challenging and pattern is changed by nbe ....but when I doubted my ability
dams faculty members especially sumer sir ....guided me to believe in me and
dams club is the best place for one to prepare and take guidance because you
will get all your answers immediately.

Dr. Diksha: I read last all
subwises but couldn't revise but this year from feb I took only that much which
I could complete and revise ...so I started preparing for may aiims and pgi
from Feb end i did AA AIIMS , previous papers up to 2006 and revised them 4
times just to get respectable rank for my confidence build up ...I also did
dams classes notes at least 9-10 times I just rattafy them ...the day after pgi
I started doing revision twice.....

revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr. Diksha: Yes revision is my key to success.
DAMS : How important you think was DAMS
in your preparation ?
Dr. Diksha: DAMS is very helpful because teachers here just not only take classes
but also guide throughout year via club u can ask any question u will be
answered ......its DAMS and only DAMS that helped me to achieve this.
DAMS: What do you think is the better
way of preparation between selective, intensive study and wide, extensive
study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr. Diksha: I have done both methods ....but only selective and intensive helped me
to achieve this because I could revise again and again in first one ......I
couldn't revised in wide and extensive study.
DAMS: Indian PG entrances are highly
competitive so to compete them students end up in appearing in multiple PG
exams , kindly extend your views on this and also their pros and cons of
appearing in multiple PG entrances .
