DAMS: Congratulations on securing a good ranks. What is the secret of your success in this exam?
Dr. Diksha
: Thank u, my secret is that I followed the advise of Sumer sir which they gave me on dams club ...that advise was very helpful ...because I was depressed after poor results aipgme and dnb nov and I was willing to take any non clinical seat of dnb when I asked sir on forum sir advised me to try again and not to take seat it is just matter of time...and I did as sir said...again started study from Feb end.
DAMS: How did your parents, family and friends contribute to your success?
Dr. Diksha
: My parents sisters and brother helped me a lot and always kept my moral high through my worst phase....its just because of them I achieved this.
DAMS: Who influenced you to take up Medicine?
Dr. Diksha
: I always wanted to take medicine right from third year I want to be a cardiologist I want to achieve that ....my father also always wanted that.
DAMS: We appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to succeed in it?
Dr. Diksha
: Yes it is challenging and pattern is changed by nbe ....but when I doubted my ability dams faculty members especially sumer sir ....guided me to believe in me and dams club is the best place for one to prepare and take guidance because you will get all your answers immediately.
DAMS:  Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr. Diksha
: I read last all subwises but couldn't revise but this year from feb I took only that much which I could complete and revise ...so I started preparing for may aiims and pgi from Feb end i did AA AIIMS , previous papers up to 2006 and revised them 4 times just to get respectable rank for my confidence build up ...I also did dams classes notes at least 9-10 times I just rattafy them ...the day after pgi I started doing revision twice.....
DAMS : Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr. Diksha
: Yes revision is my key to success.

DAMS : How important you think was DAMS in your preparation ?
Dr. Diksha
: DAMS is very helpful because teachers here just not only take classes but also guide throughout year via club u can ask any question u will be answered ......its DAMS and only DAMS that helped me to achieve this.

DAMS: What do you think is the better way of preparation between selective, intensive study and wide, extensive study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr. Diksha
: I have done both methods ....but only selective and intensive helped me to achieve this because I could revise again and again in first one ......I couldn't revised in wide and extensive study.

DAMS: Indian PG entrances are highly competitive so to compete them students end up in appearing in multiple PG exams , kindly extend your views on this and also their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances .
Dr. Diksha
: Yes multiple sessions are tricky and difficult to get selection but in the end hard work revision and good guidance is key.

DAMS: Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr. Diksha
: I focused on short subjects, medicine, obg, pathology and pharma.

DAMS: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Dr. Diksha
: My exam was on day one and morning session ...I just focused on to complete paper one hour early and review the marked questions ....I left 6 questions about those questions I was not having any idea.

DAMS: What do you want to specialize in, why and where?
Dr. Diksha
: I want to take medicine and later on specialize in cardiology ....from the best college I could get at the moment of counseling and god has granted me this chance.

DAMS: Which teachers in DAMS influenced you most and what do you like about DAMS and would recommend to your juniors?
Dr. Diksha
: DAMS faculty is awesome and the best one could get ...I m very much influenced by sumer sir, obg physion, ortho, pharma, patho, medicine faculties.....I am recommending it to my juniors.
