DAMS: Congratulations on securing a good ranks. What is the secret of your success in this exam?
Dr Amrito Biswas :-
Hard work,belief on myself

DAMS: How did your parents, family and friends contribute to your success?
Dr Amrito Biswas :-
the,three thinks that mean world to me ,they helped me through out my journey

DAMS: Who influenced you to take up Medicine?
Dr Amrito Biswas :-
my mother , and my didi

DAMS: We appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to succeed in it?
Dr Amrito Biswas:-
sometimes, but never lost the faith

DAMS: Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr Amrito Biswas:-
Pulse publication_pharma ,micro,sumer sethi radiology,yadavs anaesthesia,and offcorse robbins pathology,some important topics from Harrison

DAMS : Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr Amrito Biswas
:- Across for ant,pysio,biochem,fsm,skin ,ortho,opthal.its very imp to revise the short subjects before exams in a very quick time ,it really boosts the confidence


DAMS : How important you think was DAMS in your preparation ?
Dr Amrito Biswas:-
I used to give dams grand test regularly, my advice to all juniors please take dams grand test very seriously ,no doubt at present it is the best

DAMS: What do you think is the better way of preparation between selective, intensive study and wide, extensive study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr Amrito Biswas:
Its better to know extensively about repeatedly asked question. Remember no one enters exam hall knowing everything.but as you read extensively you can penetrate questions, rule out more options,and one thing wheather aims , all india ,pgi perfection really matters so please try to give as many as grand tests it really helps

DAMS: Indian PG entrances are highly competitive so to compete them students end up in appearing in multiple PG exams , kindly extend your views on this and also their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances .
Dr Amrito Biswas :-
My personal opinion is to increase the pg seats so that every one can do pg easily ,apart from pgi most of the exams are information based

DAMS: Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr Amrito Biswas
:- Each and every subject is important but still to me the short subjects are the key

DAMS: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Dr Amrito Biswas:-
Please sleep well before the exam day ,keep you calm i attempt 245 questions in pgi ,190 in aiims

DAMS: What do you want to specialize in, why and where?
Dr Amrito Biswas:-
Medicine ,either from aims or from PGI

Dr Rainy Aggarwal :
AA, MK-S volumes. Also DAMS coaching material. Med-AA, Surg, AA, Pharma- Gobind Rai, Path- Robbins (General), Micro- Rachna chaurasaia , O/G- Sakshi arora, Peads- O’P Ghai- Neonatology BAPF- Across, short subjects- Across.

DAMS : Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr Rainy Aggarwal :-
Most productive- AA, MK 5 volumes. Least productive- ACROSS (lots of mistakes)

DAMS : How important you think was DAMS in your preparation ?
Dr Rainy Aggarwal :-
Very important- class Notes, Recent updates were. Very helpful- It Also helpful. It also helped in sawing all queries Grand Tests& Subject wise Tests were also amazing.

Retro study selective intensive study

2nd yrs- Micro, Pharma, Path & short subjects.

DAMS: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?

: I attempted AI= 290/300, DPG- 300/300

DAMS: What do you want to specialize in, why and where?
Dr Rainy Aggarwal :
Radiology

DAMS: Which teachers in DAMS influenced you most and what do you like about DAMS and would recommend to your juniors?
Dr Rainy Aggarwal :
Sumer Sethi- Radio, DR, Siddharth –Paeds. Dr.Rajiv-Ent. Dr varun- gupta pharma DAMS is a very good institute and I recommend it to all !!! Best of luck !!!
