Dr Danny Kumar did his MBBS from S N Medical College Jodhpur and joined DAMS Jodhpur

DAMS: Congratulations on securing a top rank in ur PG Entrance exam . What is the secret of your success in this exam?

Dr Danny : Hard work weight always more then your intelligence so its hard work that stands me at Rank – 4 rajasthan PG And Rank18 AIPG

DAMS: How did your parents, family and friends contribute to your success?
Dr Danny : I am First doctor of my family. my mom put away me from all distraction & does not drug me in responsibilities even after 14 year of my father death. Friend continuous boost up my confidence.

DAMS: Who influenced you to take up Medicine?
Dr Danny :
My father had dream to make a doctor & I continue to chase the dream of that divine sole.

DAMS: We appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to succeed in it?
Dr Danny:
Every student face the depression period in their preparation to but I built up my confidence & my friends & family boost it & made me sure that I will crack.

DAMS: Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr Danny :
Usual books- Ghai, Dutt, Shaws Robbins for pathology & Harisson for medicine. Harper-Biochem Garong – pathology is must for scoring top 20 rank Dams notes summaries all texts book so were bricks of my success.


DAMS : Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr Danny:
AA & MK are milestones in PG preparation you are not suppose to thick wrong answer for any repeat question. It will pay you hard.

DAMS : How important you think was DAMS in your preparation ?
Dr :
Without DAMS it was not possible to summaries & the such length course . In a month & possibly & I would have taken double time for preparation. Without DAMS . So DAMS play major role.

DAMS: What do you think is the better way of preparation between selective, intensive study and wide, extensive study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr Danny :
It depends on when you start In Internship preparation selective & intensive results batter if you start in final year, extensive should of final year subject give you Top Rank.

DAMS: Indian PG entrances are highly competitive so to compete them students end up in appearing in multiple PG exams , kindly extend your views on this and also their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances .
Dr Danny :
Focus should be on AIPG & AIIMS remaining can be handle with basis of these preparation. Appearing in multiple exams gives to multiple options to be select.

DAMS: Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr :
Pharma , Patho , Micro , Short subjects are easy to prepare & scoring can be improved by Short subject preparation.

DAMS: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Dr Danny :
Day before Exam I revise my all tricks that I made in my preparation.

Dr Danny : Medicine MAMC New Delhi

DAMS: Which teachers in DAMS influenced you most and what do you like about DAMS and would recommend to your juniors?
Dr Danny:
Dr Sumer sethi- Radio, Dr. Varun gupta- Pharma, Dr . Rajive tiwari- Surgery, most of teacher were up to mark
