this exam?
Dr.Manish: I owe my rank to God’s grace. My parents & DAMS. Joining DAMS was the Best decision I ever made.

friends contribute to your success?
Dr.Manish: My parents really supported me. They trusted my decisions & helped me achieve my dream & I am really thankful to my friends for their motivation & their brain storming discussions.

DAMS: Who influenced you to take up
Medicine?
Dr.Manish: I have always been fascinated by the miraculous human body, that influenced me to take up Medicine.

DAMS: We appreciate the fact that
preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be really challenging. During
your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to succeed in it?
Dr.Manish: Many times, I doubted, but I always kept my eyes on the big picture & now I can say that the reward is worth over the pain.

Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr.Manish: I just focussed on DAMS notes & DAMS T & D papers & last but not the least I really crammed LAST LOOKS only book I read for theory part.

DAMS : Which books did you read for MCQ
revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr.Manish: I did AI from MK. These days exam pattern is getting changed, they don’t ask separated questions, so that is more important than solving MCQ books is to make your concepts clear in which DAMS Notes helped me a lot.

DAMS : How important you think was DAMS
in your preparation ?
Dr.Manish: Without DAMS I couldn’t have achieved the success.

DAMS: What do you think is the better
way of preparation between selective, intensive study and wide, extensive
study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr.Manish: Selective & Intensive study is better according to me.

DAMS: Indian PG entrances are highly
competitive so to compete them students end up in appearing in multiple PG
exams , kindly extend your views on this and also their pros and cons of
appearing in multiple PG entrances .
Dr.Manish: Everything has an advantage & a disadvantage. Having multiple exams has the benefit that you may try your luck in multiple papers & you have chance of preparing for next exam in a better way than previous one.

DAMS: Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr.Manish: I have gave maximum weight age to Pre & Para clinical subjects. Once these are Medicine & surgery become easier than you can ever think of.

DAMS: What was your strategy for the
exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Dr.Manish: Before the day of exam I just received LAST Look mixed bag, which was a wonderful idea by Dr. Sumer Sethi sir aptly named LAST LOOK & it solved its purpose well.

in, why and where?
Dr.Manish: I want to specialise in Ortho Surgery in KGMU, Lucknow.

DAMS: Which teachers in DAMS influenced
you most and what do you like about DAMS and would recommend to your juniors?
Dr.Manish: 1st of all I want to give all the credit to Dr. Sumer Sethi sir, not only as a teacher but as a motivator, a friend. He is the “one who really makes Life” Each & every teacher of DAMS is great, all 19 subjects.
