DAMS: Congratulations on securing a good ranks. What is the secret of your success in this exam?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:

DAMS: How did y:our parents, family and friends contribute to your success?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
YES I owe my sucesess 2 my family n frnds.They supported me whenever I felt low…n never let me down.

DAMS: Who influenced you to take up Medicine?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
My father influenced me d most…..

DAMS: We appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to succeed in it?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
I never doubt my ability….i started wid a positive mindset dat I can do it n I hav 2 do it n kept it throughout d year….

DAMS: Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
I read Harrison ,belly,dutta,ghai, n all other standard textbooks…..

DAMS : Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
amit ashish 4 med, arvind arora 4 surg,path,micro,paeds…..garg gupta 4 pharma, ACRROSS 4 short subjects…..5 volumes plus 2 vol. of Mhpgmcet….

DAMS : How important you think was DAMS in your preparation ?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
DAMS CONTRIBUTED A LOT!!! ALL d faculties were grt… I cud revise all d subjects in short time frm d classroom notes n they were most productive…..

DAMS: What do you think is the better way of preparation between selective, intensive study and wide, extensive study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
IN 4 n half yr ,we shd do wide extensive stdy N , SELECTIVE INTENSIV STDY in 1yr internship period

DAMS: Indian PG entrances are highly competitive so to compete them students end up in appearing in multiple PG exams , kindly extend your views on this and also their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances .
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
I gave only 3 exams….aipg,MH CET, n JIPMER ….. Actully giving xams boosted my confidence….n experience matters somewhat…..

DAMS: Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
med, surg,obgy,pharma,path,micro,psm I MADE DIS SUBJECTS STRONG….also focussed on short subjects which gave me agud rank…..

DAMS: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
I decided 2 attempt max ques….between 285 to295…… I attempted 292 ques….

DAMS: What do you want to specialize in, why and where?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
I want 2 do MD MEDICINE FROM KEM MUMBAI N LATER DO DM ….I WAS GRTLY INFLENCED BY DM PEOPLE I USED 2 SEE……

DAMS: Which teachers in DAMS influenced you most and what do you like about DAMS and would recommend to your juniors?
Dr.Dhiraj G.Agarwal:
DAMS classroom course is excellent……..all d faculties r grt……still I liked d faculties of optha,ent,pharma, anat,physio,bchem, ortho,radio, d most……bcoz Of dem,I cud revise 19 subjects in short period of time…..n cud revise d most imp n productive things frequently……

I will advise my juniors 2 join dams… A VERY GUD LUCK 2 ONE AND ALL!!!
