Interview with our topper Dr. NISHANT SINGLA
Dr. NISHANT SINGLA did his MBBS from the Prestigious University College of Medical Sciences and joined DAMS T & D course Regd No. DL15751

He secured Rank 9 IN DNB CET 2013 Exam


DAMS: Congratulations on securing a good ranks. What is the secret of your success in this exam?
Dr. Nishant Singla:
There is no secret, everybody is well worsed with the scenario of pg entrance examination coaching. If someone knows the secret, then it’s surely Dr. Sumer Sethi Sir.    
DAMS: How did your parents, family and friends contribute to your success?
Dr. Nishant Singla:
They are the pillars of the society. Luckily, by god’s grace I got loads of friends who themselves are bigger toppers than myself.
DAMS: Who influenced you to take up Medicine?
Dr. Nishant Singla:
My DAD.
DAMS: We appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to succeed in it?
Dr. Nishant Singla:
Yeah. 
DAMS:  Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr. Nishant Singla:
The answer to every question can be found in a book named “ROBBINS “.  Rest other books name everybody knows.
DAMS: Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr. Nishant Singla:
I haven’t started with my revision yet, but will be doing MK and AA, for it (for other exams).

DAMS : How important you think was DAMS in your preparation ?
Dr. Nishant Singla:
DAMS told me what to study and what not to. So it’s very important.   
DAMS: What do you think is the better way of preparation between selective, intensive study and wide, extensive study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr. Nishant Singla:
Wide, extensive. No doubt about it.              
DAMS: Indian PG entrances are highly competitive so to compete them students end up in appearing in multiple PG exams , kindly extend your views on this and also their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances .
Dr. Nishant Singla:
Giving every exam that is fairly conducted by our country is mandatory for every student.
DAMS: Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr. Nishant Singla:  
All 19 subjects are equally important.
DAMS: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Dr. Nishant Singla:  
All questions to be attempted when there is no negative marking.
DAMS: What do you want to specialize in, why and where?
Dr. Nishant Singla:  
Interventional radiology. Its an upcoming field and somehow it fascinates me.
DAMS: Which teachers in DAMS influenced you most and what do you like about DAMS and would recommend to your juniors?
Dr. Nishant Singla:  
Dr. Sumer Sethi, Medicine sir & Surgery sir. The three diamonds DAMS has.
Everybody should join DAMS. THEY TEACH PRETTY RELEVANT STUFF PLUS THEY GIVE YOU THE EDGE.
