Dr. RAHUL RAJEEV did his MBBS from GMC, Trivandrum and joined DAMS
He secured Rank 58 IN NOV AIIMS Exam

DAMS: Congratulations on securing a good ranks. What is the secret of your
success in this exam?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev:  
Hard work, Support from friends and family and some luck.
DAMS: How did your parents, family and friends contribute to your success?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
A lot…My parents and my brother were very supportive..Two of my friends, Jose and Joseph always kept me motivated…
DAMS: Who influenced you to take up Medicine?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
My medicine teacher in college Dr. Ranjit Sanu Watson.
DAMS: We appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to succeed in it?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
A good friends circle helped in reducing the exam pressure.
DAMS:  Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev:
I mainly relied on mcq books..did not get time to read standard text books.
DAMS: Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
I read MK for medicine and across for all other subjects.
DAMS: How important you think was DAMS in your preparation?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
The mock tests conducted by DAMS were very useful.
DAMS: What do you think is the better way of preparation between selective, intensive study and wide, extensive study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
I didn’t do exhaustive study. Focussed on important and often repeated topics.
DAMS: Indian PG entrances are highly competitive so to compete them students end up in appearing in multiple PG exams , kindly extend your views on this and also their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances .
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
Multiple Pg exams are good as it gives you chance to correct your mistakes and prepare for next. But multiple day pattern  with psychometric analysis for all india exam is unfair.
DAMS: Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
Medicine, Spm.
DAMS: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
Didn’t have a fixed plan..
DAMS: What do you want to specialize in, why and where?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
General Medicine.
DAMS: Which teachers in DAMS influenced you most and what do you like about DAMS and would recommend to your juniors?
Dr. Rahul Rajeev: 
Dr Sumer Sethi sir, OBG mam, Opthal sir…They kept the DAMS exclusive club very active and informative.
