Interview with our topper Dr. M.S.N.Nitya
Dr. M.S.N.Nitya did her MBBS from T.N.Medical College and joined DAMS
She  secured  Rank 43 IN AIPGE & 2 MAHCET Exam (2013-2014)
 DAMS: Congratulations on securing a good  ranks. What is the secret of your success in this exam?
Dr.Nitya:
Every Day Efforts, Hard Work, revision, faith & patience.
DAMS: How did your parents, family and friends contribute to your success?
Dr.Nitya:
They gave immense support at every stage of my Preparation.
DAMS: Who influenced you to take up Medicine?
Dr.Nitya:
My grandparents, Grandfather was a surgeon and he did a lot of noble work.
DAMS: We appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to succeed in it?
Dr.Nitya:
Everyone goes through these phases and so did I, but I always had the patience & faith that things will click at the right time.
DAMS:  Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr.Nitya:
A part from subject wise MCQ books, few reference books for imp topic, couple of papers, last book series.
DAMS : Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr.Nitya:
Subject wise books & last look & notes were most productive.
DAMS : How important you think was DAMS in your preparation ?
Dr.Nitya:
DAMS gave very good guidance, & got us focus on what’s most important.
DAMS: What do you think is the better way of preparation between selective, intensive study and wide, extensive study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr.Nitya:
Wide extensive.
DAMS: Indian PG entrances are highly competitive so to compete them students end up in appearing in multiple PG exams , kindly extend your views on this and also their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances .
Dr.Nitya:
It’s beneficial to appear multiple pg exams, because you never know where you might strike.
DAMS: Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr.Nitya:
Anatomy, Pharma, PSM, Patho, Physio.
DAMS: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Dr.Nitya:
All as no negative marking.
DAMS: What do you want to specialize in, why and where?
Dr.Nitya:
Dermatology, Mumbai.
DAMS: Which teachers in DAMS influenced you most and what do you like about DAMS and would recommend to your juniors?
Dr.Nitya:
Dr. Sumer sethi sir was very inspiring. Pharma sir & his method of teaching were very easy to follow. DAMS is there with us whenever we need there. I will definitely recommended it, without any doubt.
