your success in this exam?

BLESSING OF GOD, PARENTS SUPPORT AND OBVIOUSLY CONTINUOES GUIDING OF DAMS. (DAMS
PLAYED KEYROLE).

How did your parents, family and friends contribute to your success?
Dr.Rakesh
Kela:
MY PARENTS & MY FAMILY MEMBERS WERE TOTALLY INVOLVED AND HELPING MY EACH
& EVERY STEP OF MY PREPARATION

Who influenced you?
Dr.Rakesh
Kela:
MY DAD AND SPECIALLY DR. SUMER SIR WHILE MY PREPARATION. EVERY TIME WHEN I WAS
DOWN, THEY WERE THE ONE WHO BOOST ME UP ALL THE TIME.

We appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be
really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to
succeed in it?

Kela:
BEFORE JOINING DAMS I WAS TOTALLY BLIND AND NOT HAVING IDEA ABOUT EXAM AND YOU
CAN SEE MY RESULT. MY ALL CREDIT GOES TO DAMS.

Which notes did you read for the theory part?
Dr.Rakesh
Kela: MAINLY
DAMS CLASS NOTES, DAMS-GOLDEN POINTS & DAMS SUBJECTWISE & COMBINED
TESTS NOTHING ELSE.
DAMS:
Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most
productive and which were least?

Kela:
I HAVE GONE THROUGH THE PREVIOUS YEAR QUESTIONS. A PART (1944- 2004) OF ALL
INDIA QUES. PHARMA-GOVIND RAI GARG, PATHO–SPARSH GUPTA ALSO REVISED DAMS TEST
PAPERS.

How important you think was DAMS in your preparation?
Dr.Rakesh
Kela:
DAMS IS DAMMM…… GOOD. DAMS HAS GIVEN CLEAR IDEA ABOUT EXAM WHICH IS THE MOST
IMP. STEP FOR THE EXAM. WHILE PREPARATION THEY HAVE GUIDED VERY NICELY WHAT TO
READ AND WHAT NOT TO READ. I JUST WANT TO SAY BECAUSE OF DAMS I COULD CLEAR MY
EXAM.

What do you think is the batter way of preparation between selective, intensive
and wide, extensive study? What did you choose as your style of studying?

Kela:
SELECTIVE STUDY BUT REVISION, REVISION & REVISION AS MANY TIMES AS I CAN.
DAMS:
Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr.Rakesh
Kela: ALL
SHORT SUBJECTS AND LIKE RADIO, ORTHO, PSYCHIATRY, SKIN, FMT, ANESTHESIA,
PHARMA, PATHO, OPTHALMOLOGY, SPM.

What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and
why?

Kela:
POSITIVE ATTITUDE (AS I WAS GUIDED BY DAMS) & RELAX. (AS IT WAS TOLD BY DR.SUMER
SIR) NO HURRIES. I ATTEMPTED ALL QUESTIONS. I USE LAYRING MEDHOD – 1ST
LAYER THE ONE WHICH I KNOW 100%, 2ND LAYER WHICH I WAS CONFUSED
BETWEEN TWO OPTIONS & 3RD LAYER THE ONE WHICH I DON’T KNOW
ANYTHING.
DAMS:
What do you want to specialize in, why and where?
Dr.Rakesh
Kela:
I WANT TO BECOME RADIOLOGIST FROM AIIMS BECAUSE IT IS ON THE TOP & ALSO ONE
OF THE MOST DIFFICULT TO GET THIS SEAT.
MOST APPRECIATED VERY RARE DR. WHO ARE
KNOWN AS GOOD RADIOLOGIST. JUST WANT TO BE LIKE DR. SUMER SIR. (A FAMOUS &
SUCCESSFUL DOCTOR).
