Congratulation on securing a top rank in MCI Screening. What is the secret of
your success in this exam?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib:
Thanks!!!!! Group study with friends and multiple revisions.
DAMS:
How did your parents, family and friends contribute to your success?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib:
My parents, family and friends were really helpful during my preparation. They
motivated me a lot.
DAMS:
Who influenced you?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib:
My parents and my Passion towards profession
DAMS:
We appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be
really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to
succeed in it?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib:
No, I was confident since a passed my
final MBBS. But it is very difficult to revise complete MBBS course in very
short duration.
So that why I joined DAMS.
DAMS:
Which notes did you read for the theory part?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib: For
theory part- I read my MBBS notes. DAMS notes were really helpful for clearing
the screening test DAMS provide concise, point wise notes which were very
helpful.
DAMS:
Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most
productive and which were least?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib:
K. V. Kamal is the backbone. So I will recommend everyone to read this book.
Bhatia is also a good book to read.Vivek Jain for prevention medicine is a must
to read.
DAMS:
How important you think was DAMS in your preparation?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib:
During my preparation DAMS were very helpful especially the classes. I would
like to thanks my teachers for ORTHO, for PSM, for ENT Professor, OPTHAL madam
for their guidance.
DAMS:
What do you think is the batter way of preparation between selective, intensive
and wide, extensive study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib:
Most important part of study is Revision whatever you studied revision is must
. I have finished of syllabus thrice.
So, in my opinion extensive study in depth
knowledge is must
DAMS:
Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib:
Medicine, Surgery, OBG, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Pharmacology & PSM.
DAMS:
What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and
why?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib:
I attempted all the questions since there was no negative marking.
So, first a have finished the question
which I was sure & in last 30 min I have solved the remaining ones.
DAMS:
What do you want to specialize in, why and where?
Dr.Rashad
Rahib:
I want to become MD (Medicine).
I always found Medicine very intresting
since my MBBS days. I have hold over other subject also but medicine is my core
competency and I am sure that I will excel in the field.
As medicine is my passion & I want to
practice my passion.
