Dr. VISHNU. S did his MBBS from MADRAS MEDICAL COLLEGE CHENNAI and joined DAMS COMBO TEST SERIES Regd no CA09604
He secured Rank 18 IN DNB CET NOV 2012 Exam
DAMS: Congratulations on securing a  good  ranks. What is the secret of your success in this exam?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:
Hard work, revision and grace of god.
DAMS: How did your parents, family and friends contribute to your success?


Dr. Vishnu. S.:  
They supported me all throughout my preparation.....
DAMS: Who influenced you to take up Medicine?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:  
My own interest....
DAMS: We appreciate the fact that preparing for an extremely competitive exam must be really challenging. During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to succeed in it?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:
Definitely, I doubted my ability....but I would leave it to god...and continue my preparation...
DAMS:  Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:
Most of the books that we read for the entrance exam....volumes, across, Arvind Arora series.
DAMS : Which books did you read for MCQ revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:
Volumes Amit Ashish ....and notes revision helped me a lot in last minute.

DAMS : How important you think was DAMS in your preparation ?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:
I joined the test series it was very helpful....the questions were of good standard.
DAMS: What do you think is the better way of preparation between selective, intensive study and wide, extensive study? What did you choose as your style of studying?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:  
Mostly selective study and repeated revision.
DAMS: Indian PG entrances are highly competitive so to compete them students end up in appearing in multiple PG exams , kindly extend your views on this and also their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances .
Dr. Vishnu. S.:
pros of multiple exams it gives an extra chance to the candidate to succeed well....cons financial and time wastage.....
DAMS: Which subjects did you focus on?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:
1st, 2nd yr ...med and surgery.
DAMS: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:
no special strategy.....since there was no negative marking attempted all.....
DAMS: What do you want to specialize in, why and where?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:
orthopaedics....my passion
DAMS: Which teachers in DAMS influenced you most and what do you like about DAMS and would recommend to your juniors?
Dr. Vishnu. S.:
I would definitely recommend DAMS institute to my juniors....
